But what's news about that? No one said "everyone in the world" wants the Player. It's more like 6 to 10 teams, and they want the Player because the guys they have aren't nearly as good as he is. Moreover, those are fans voting in that poll, not coaches, and fans aren't the one that get to decide.



I'll wager the majority of coaches would want the Player over Rodgers and Cassel. I've also seen a couple of polls where active players - not fans - voted Rivers the most overrated QB in the league (and there are plenty to choose from). I'd be interested to see how Brady Quinn fared in that poll. There seem to be a ton of fans that think he's the next Tom Brady, though he's done nothing so far that would indicate as much.
